Acne is a troublesome condition to deal with, especially for teenagers. Acne is usually larger than a single black head or a pimple. A person who suffers from acne usually has bumpy skin which is not good to looks at. Not only is the skin around the acne bumpy, but it is also reddish and looks like a blemish on the skin. Some teenagers also have a lot of these acne bumps on their face, which causes them to be socially introverted. Acne can cause havoc in a teenagers life because there is so much peer pressure to look good and all the good qualities of that person get hidden because of the way they look.

Teenagers are extremely sensitive to acne, and it is very common among this age group. The eagerness to get rid of their acne is also very high among the teenagers, and they will do virtually anything to get rid of it. They are the easy prey for commercialized medicines who promise a lot through commercial and TV ads saying they will start looking young and beautiful again as soon as they start using the cream. Because of the desperation, many teens stop reasoning about whether or not it is worth it to spend money on something which may not work effectively.

Sometimes acne will disappear with age in teenagers. It can just be a passing phase because of their hormones which is causing the acne. Once the hormones settle down even the acne might disappear. But this phase is very difficult to understand because they may end up making a person look sick or diseased. It causes great discomforts to teens as they go to school and college and are constantly under pressure to look good. Teens are usually counseled by the doctors and are advised not to feel so bad. They use positive therapy along with the acne treatment for the teenagers./pbr
